Landscaper/Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. This role involves various tasks related to landscape maintenance and groundskeeping, contributing to the beautification and upkeep of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors and a strong desire to learn about tree care, lawn care, and landscape maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscapes by performing regular mowing, trimming, and edging of lawns.
• Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers as needed.
• Utilize hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners to perform various landscaping tasks.
• Operate power tools safely and effectively for tasks including cutting, shaping, and maintaining plants.
• Assist in building landscape features such as flower beds, retaining walls, and pathways.
• Conduct tree care activities including pruning and mulching to promote healthy growth.
• Ensure all groundskeeping duties are completed efficiently while maintaining a clean work environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools effectively is a plus.
• A willingness to learn new skills related to tree care, lawn care, and overall landscape management is essential.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
