We are now Hiring for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager!

Compensation: Full-time Salary, Depending upon experience

Schedule: Flexible morning and evening shifts

Location: 2401 Willow Springs Dr, Boca Raton, Florida 33496

Position Summary:

Supervise performance of housekeeping and laundry Associates. Ensure all facilities are clean and sanitized for all. Responsible for inspection and cleanliness of all club public areas and restrooms on a daily basis to ensure the cleaning meets the standards required by Broken Sound Club.

  • Manage and supervise staff of housekeeping and laundry on a daily basis
  • Work on scheduling and assigning housekeeping associates to daily work assignments
  • Ensure all operational and safety procedures are properly followed
  • Daily walk through of the club cleanliness for inspection.
  • Train and coach employees in laundry and housekeeping
  • Inspect and approve staff work performance, give corrective action when necessary.
  • Train new associate and guide current associate on new/current policies and procedures.
  • Meet goals of production, budget and club guidelines.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of corrective action plans to improve guest satisfaction.
  • Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and takes corrective action.
  • Coordinates housekeeping requests among departments and assigns to associates.
  • Conducts orientation training and in-service training to explain policies, work procedures, and to
  • Demonstrates use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency of staff shortage.
  • Attends management meetings to discuss company policies and patrons complaints.
  • Issues supplies and equipment to workers.
  • Handles performance appraisal/reviews.
  • Handles ordering/purchasing of supplies and equipment.
  • Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints.
  • Strives to improve service performance.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel and Word
  • Organization skills and attention to detail
  • Exposure and experience with high end clients is preferred
  • Advanced leadership of a multi-unit or high volume, high-end operations. Prefer Hotel and/or Club experience.

Education & Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • 4 years Management experience is required.
  • 4 years Housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Country Club experience preferred but not required.
