Position Summary
We are searching for an experienced Growth Director to lead for one of our marketing teams. In this position, you will be responsible for the growth and success of the team, individual team members under your management, and clients under your team’s management. This means overseeing high-level strategy, communication, and overall performance of all client marketing engagements managed by your team.
Your focus is ensuring that we meet and exceed the client’s goals, allowing them to grow their business in a sustainable way and facilitating a long and fruitful relationship with them. Your duties will include high-level strategic support, overseeing implementation by your team, and monitoring the overall health of our clients’ digital marketing campaigns across all channels and initiatives. Additionally, you will play a key role in the business and relationship development that keeps your team busy.
To be successful in this role you will need experience in funnel-based digital marketing strategy/execution, analytics and reporting, paid media planning, and organic efforts such as social media management, SEO, and content strategy. In addition to being an outstanding communicator and team leader, you will also demonstrate excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and big picture analytical and strategic skills. Brolik is a growth consultant for our clients above all else, so having a solid grounding in business strategy will empower our tactical marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
Build and lead an effective and dynamic team of marketing managers and specialists
Lead the development of strategic marketing plans for marketing retainer clients
Oversee high-level strategy and performance of all client accounts under management
Support team of growth marketers with marketing campaigns and tactics, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic goals
Monitor and manage the utilization and performance of your team
Drive growth and utilization of your team by developing opportunities for new business
Support with monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews and presentations with clients.
Support strategists with ongoing relationship development and communication with clients
Coordinate with vendors and outside consultants to drive marketing results
Identify and leverage the latest trends and technologies affecting the marketing industry, to support your team with new tools and ideas
Requirements
5 years of relevant industry experience as an agency or brand-side marketing strategist
3 years of experience in a client-facing / client-management role
In-depth knowledge of various marketing, advertising, and social media platforms, including the Google and Facebook analytics and advertising platforms
General technical literacy
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Strong knowledge of reporting, analytics, and attribution strategies and tools
Self-motivated
Strong critical thinking skills and analytical abilities
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing
Adaptability and willingness to learn new things
Must provide writing samples that demonstrate strong writing skills
Experience managing a marketing department or team of other professionals
Previous Agency Experience
Google Analytics and Google Ads Certification
