Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the leasing process, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and appealing to potential tenants. Duties
- Assist prospective tenants with inquiries about available properties and the leasing process.
- Conduct property tours and showcase amenities to potential renters.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and property files.
- Utilize customer relationship management software to track leads and follow up with prospects.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address tenant concerns and ensure properties are in optimal condition.
- Handle conflicts professionally and provide solutions to tenant issues as they arise.
- Support the administrative tasks related to leasing activities, including preparing lease agreements and processing applications.
- Stay informed about local real estate laws, including LIHTC regulations, to ensure compliance in all leasing activities.
- Foster positive relationships with current tenants to encourage lease renewals and referrals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in real estate administration or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of property maintenance practices is a plus.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to persuade potential tenants effectively.
- Excellent conflict management abilities and customer service skills.
- Proficient in office software applications and file management systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license may be required for property tours and client meetings.
