ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for monitoring the Pool Attendant Desk at all times.
- Responsible for ensuring everyone entering the pool area is a guest of the hotel.
- Escort guests to the pool area from the spa, ensuring no disruption of spa guests occurs.
- Creates day keys and generates different codes each day for pool access.
- Monitor the pool area to ensure safety and adherence to facility rules in a professional manner.
- Greet and assist guests with a warm and welcoming attitude.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Regularly monitor and replenish towels.
- Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and report any issues to the Spa Manager and Maintenance.
- Regularly inspect the pool and surrounding areas for cleanliness.
- Responsible for ensuring pool chairs and tables are in good condition and set up properly.
- Maintain compliance with all safety standards, health standards, and internal policies and procedures. Includes proper sanitation of spa areas and equipment.
- Work closely with the spa team to ensure smooth operations and a seamless guest experience.
- Assist other spa staff as needed to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Uphold 4-star standards by delivering excellent customer service. Maintains positive relations with all guests and employees. Goes above and beyond to make each guest feel welcomed and special.
- Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
- Performs special projects as needed or requested.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated experience working in customer service. Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Preferred one (1) or more years of experience working in customer service, preferably in a pool setting.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$15.00 an hour based on experience.
