Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient transportation and delivery of goods, and coordinating with drivers and Dispatchers. This role requires strong communication, multitasking, and attention to detail to maintain seamless workflow and resolve any logistical challenges promptly.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, and warehouse teams to track shipments and resolve delays.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, schedules, and logistics data.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Handle inquiries, concerns, and issues from clients, vendors, and team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Identify and resolve logistics challenges proactively to minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align logistics operations with business needs.
- Utilize logistics software and tracking tools to manage shipments and schedules.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent multitasking ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
- Keen attention to detail to track shipments, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination is preferred.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and problem-solve under pressure.
