What are the responsibilities and job description for the Underground Miner - Faceman I position at Bronco Utah Operations LLC?
Job Summary:
The Faceman I position will assist all underground mining departments that are involved with production in the working faces of the mine.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Moving high voltage cable and ventilation curtains
- Installing and maintain ventilation controls and pumping equipment
- Operating a shuttle car and other medium to heavy equipment
- Unload materials, devices, and machine parts, using hand tools
- Set up and adjustment equipment
- Organize materials to prepare for use
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials — Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
- Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, peers, or subordinates — Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. Must have at least a limited working proficiency of the English language.
- Ability to obtain information — Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year or more of underground faceman experience
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift ≥75 lbs
- Performing General Physical Activities — Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
- Handling and Moving Objects — Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
- Required to don personal protective equipment and all times while underground including: hard hat, safety glasses, mine belt with tracking, self-contained self-rescuer, & other tools, and safety toe boots.
