As a Registered Nurse (RN) in this role, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to premature and critically ill newborns, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Our NICU team is dedicated to supporting families through the neonatal care process, from initial assessment to discharge.
About the Role
This position requires an RN with experience in providing comprehensive nursing care in the NICU & NICU Stepdown units. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, respiratory function, and overall neonatal health, as well as administering medications, treatments, and specialized neonatal care interventions. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with physicians, neonatal specialists, and care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed RN in Michigan (good standing).
- BLS certification required.
- At least one year of NICU or acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient advocacy skills.
