About the Position:
Bronson Methodist Hospital is seeking a qualified nurse leader to fill the role of Unit Coordinator for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) & NICU Stepdown Unit.
This critical position requires strong clinical leadership and mentorship skills, as well as the ability to oversee day-to-day unit operations and ensure high-quality patient care.
Your responsibilities will include providing clinical leadership and mentorship to NICU nursing staff, overseeing day-to-day unit operations, and assisting with staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to NICU nursing staff
- Oversee day-to-day unit operations, including patient placements and staff assignments
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Serve as a resource for staff, addressing clinical concerns and service recovery issues
- Ensure compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards
- Support quality improvement initiatives and monitor patient care outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required (Master's preferred)
- Advanced nursing certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
