Overview

Duties
- Provide care for patients in the telemetry unit, monitoring vital signs and telemetry readings
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize electronic health records systems such as Epic for accurate documentation
- Assist in infectious disease care and critical care situations
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results to provide comprehensive patient care
- Support patients with developmental disabilities and children requiring medical attention
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
- Experience in telemetry nursing and cardiac monitoring
- Proficiency in medication administration and knowledge of MDS assessments
- Familiarity with coding practices related to healthcare services
- Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, including children
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in aliment management and patient education is advantageous
