What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Mill Machine Operator position at Bront Machining Inc.?
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring proper tooling, fixtures, and materials are used.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Program, edit, and optimize CNC machine tool programs (G-code, M-code) to meet part specifications.
- Perform quality checks using various measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
- Monitor machine performance, make adjustments as necessary, and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain proper documentation of production and inspection records to comply with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Inspect and verify finished parts for adherence to specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and engineers to resolve production issues.
- Assist with the maintenance and routine care of CNC equipment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, including process optimization and waste reduction.
