Retail Sales Associate

And now, as we expand, we're looking for help in our beautiful downtown retail boutique. Our store is small and full of special products we make, and source from around the globe.

Responsibilities Include:

• Welcoming and assisting customers with warmth and expertise.
• Sharing the stories behind our brand and products.
• Ensuring our boutique remains clean and impeccably merchandised.
• Managing inventory with Shopify POS system.
• Check-in new products and prepare them for sale on floor.
• Manage returns, exchanges, and educate customers about our warranty program.
• Participate in special events periodically such as Ladies Night, First Friday, or promotional events
• Learn origin stories and technical information of all products we sell in our store.

What We're Looking For:

• Retail experience, especially in boutique settings with artisanal goods.
• Availability to work weekends not necessary on a regular basis but a willingness to cover a weekend shift on occasion a must. We are looking to hire 3 days/week to begin.
• Strong communication skills and ability to create trusting and authentic relationships.
• Chipper and friendly attitude, must genuinely love connecting with new people.
• Stellar communication skills and a knack for building genuine connections.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and retain knowledge about products
• Familiarity with Shopify POS is a bonus, but not a deal-breaker.
• Physically capable of climbing stepladder to access high shelf products
• Our downtown store is open 6 or 7 days/week depending upon season and our hours are between 10am - 6pm also depending upon season
