About the Role
We are looking for a dependable and motivated Driver / Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will deliver tile and stone materials to various job sites across the Chicago area while operating a range of vehicles, including trucks, trailers, vans, and slab trucks. This position offers excellent opportunities for growth, with the potential to advance into Warehouse Management, Project Management, or other roles within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials to job sites.
- Load and unload tile and stone materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery accuracy and maintain detailed records of shipments.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure road safety.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors to coordinate deliveries.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and material preparation.
