We're seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Bronx Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare. As a CNA, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents.
About the Position
In this role, you'll work closely with our residents, observing their needs, reporting any health issues, and taking care of their personal hygiene. You'll also set up meal trays, document food/fluid intake, and feed residents while serving nutritional supplements.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse
- Taking care of resident's personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.
- Set up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
- Feed residents & serve nutritional supplements
- Making beds & keeping the Residents' space clean and tidy
- Transporting Residents within the Facility
- Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
- Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data
Requirements
- Must be able to work as a team member
- Successful completion of a CNA program
- Current CNA State Certification
- Must be in good standing with State Registry
