The Human Resources Coordinator will coordinate internship administration and perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resources department.

HR Assistant duties:
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
Processes payroll forms for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.
Assists with recruitment including drafting job descriptions, posting positions and screening resumes.
Assists with new hires including drafting offer letters, distributing and collecting new hire paperwork, completing internal new hire form for IT and scheduling new hire orientation.
Tracking employee forms for benefits enrollment and performance evaluations.
Provides clerical support to the Finance/ HR department.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Internship Coordinator duties:
Communicates with all departments of the organization to identify available opportunities and needs for interns.
Recruits interns to fit these roles using a variety of resources and techniques.
Gathers information about each intern’s skills, availability, and goals; matches interns with appropriate opportunities based on this data.
Schedules, coordinates, and assigns interns to appropriate departments, supervisors, and/or mentors.
Regularly communicates with interns to ensure placement is a good fit for individual’s skills and goals.
Maintains files, records, applications, and other data concerning intern program.
Drafts, maintains, and publishes guidelines, best practices, and procedures for intern program.
Required education and experience

HS Diploma and 3 years prior administrative experience.
Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and GSuite.
Excellent judgment, strong organizational and decision-making skills
Detail-oriented; able to handle multiple tasks and manage time efficiently
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Must have ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
ADP knowledge a plus
Preferred education and experience

Bachelors Degree a plus
Familiarity with ADP TotalSource a plus

The work environment includes small and or enclosed spaces. No adverse environmental conditions expected.
Remote capabilities
This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule as many duties can be performed outside of the work environment.
Physical demands
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Travel required
Some travel may be required.
