We are seeking a skilled Server/Cashier to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring that they have a pleasant dining experience.
- Manage cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, making recommendations and answering questions as needed.
- Monitor table assignments and adjust accordingly to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including the kitchen and restrooms.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain food safety standards.
- Help with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and inventory management.
- Provide a positive and helpful environment for all guests, colleagues, and management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a food service or retail environment, preferably in a restaurant or fast food setting.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with guests of all ages and backgrounds.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
- Basic knowledge of sales and retail math.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Skills:
- Proven sales skills, with the ability to upsell and promote menu items.
- Experience operating a cash register or point-of-sale system.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
