As Certified Nursing Assistant, you are delegated the authority, responsibility, and accountability for carrying out your assigned duties.
The Nursing Assistant, acts under the direction of a Registered Nurse and a License Practical Nurse
The Nursing Assistant provides patient care in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan
Assist patients with activities of daily living which promote general comfort, well being, and safety
Participates in the observation of patient conditions and promptly reports changes to the primary nurse
Documents patient care or unit tasks in electronic medical records as per policy
Responds promptly to the needs of patient, communicates patient / family requests, or concerns appropriately and immediately
Demonstrates competency care procedures (foley catheter, enemas, vital signs, etc.)
