Gold Cart Beverage Associate

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Golf Cart Beverage Attendant to provide top-tier service to golfers on the course. This role involves driving a beverage cart throughout the course, selling and serving a variety of drinks and snacks while ensuring an excellent guest experience. JOB FUNCTIONS

Note: the following duties and responsibilities are not all-inclusive

• Operate a beverage cart around the golf course, providing prompt and friendly service to golfers.

• Take and fulfill food and beverage orders while following alcohol service regulations and company service standards.

• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and balance at the end of the shift.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage cart, ensuring it is fully stocked at all times.

• Retrieve food orders from the kitchen and deliver to the guests on the course.

• Check IDs and adhere to all alcohol service policies.

• Provide a friendly and engaging experience for guests, enhancing their overall time on the course.

• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management.

• Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.

• Perform any other duties asked or required of you by the Food & Beverage Manager and Director of Golf.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

• Must be at least 19 years old.

• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or food & beverage is preferred.

• Must have or be willing to obtain a valid alcohol service permit.

• Ability to operate a golf cart safely and responsibly.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.

• Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including heat, humidity, and occasional rain.

• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 40 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
