The Bronze Buffalo Ranch at Teton Springs boasts a curated portfolio of vacation rentals including private condominiums and luxury cabins. Each property varies in size and configuration and provides an all-season comfort and luxury lodging experience to guests, corporate groups, and wedding parties. Located within the Bronze Buffalo Ranch at Teton Springs, The Lodge provides luxury accommodations. Unique to our guests’ stay is access to the Bronze Buffalo Ranch Club amenities.

Job Purpose:

As a Front Desk Agent, you will serve as a representative of The Lodge at Bronze Buffalo Ranch and the Greater Teton/Yellowstone region by providing an exceptional level of service to our guests. This position includes guest service, reservations, and concierge duties. Front desk agents display a commitment to a high level of customer service; and strive to exceed guest expectations.

The position will be full-time (20 hours per week) and require evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

Job Duties for an Entry-Level Guest Service Lodge Agent:

Customer Service:

- Provide excellent customer service to guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.

- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.

- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests in a prompt and professional manner.

- Proactively offer friendly advice and useful information to guests by utilizing local knowledge and experience regarding the Bronze Buffalo Ranch & greater Teton Valley.

- Relay essential information to guests, such as event schedules, policies, and emergency procedures.

- Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns in a timely and effective manner.

- Show courtesy and discretion when managing guest needs and specific requests.

- Maintain an accurate knowledge of resort operating hours, special events, and closures for all outlets including the Grille, Pro Shop, Sports Club, Spa, Café, and Fitness Center.

Reservations and Booking:

- Assist guests with room reservations, considering their preferences and special requests.

- Update and maintain accurate records of room availability and guest information.

- Provide information about lodge facilities, services, and local attractions to assist guests in planning their stay.

- Promote additional lodge services, amenities, and promotions to enhance the guest experience.

- Develop knowledge of the lodge suites, cabins & condos to promote best fitting lodging options to potential guests.

- Actively sell both lodge and cabin rentals utilizing sales and negotiation skills.

- Stay up to date on all reservation sales, packages, and promotions.

Front Desk Operations:

- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, such as answering phones, checking in guests, and addressing inquiries.

- Operate the front desk efficiently, handling phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.

- Complete required AM/PM daily tasks as assigned by the management.

- Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.

- Maintain clear and effective communication with housekeeping, maintenance, and other lodge staff.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met and issues are resolved.

- Ensure accuracy of all reservations including direct, travel agent, and online bookings.

- Keep accurate records of guest interactions, requests, and transactions.

- Continuously look for ways to make work more efficient and effective.

- Monitor and ensure the security of the lobby area and entrances.

- Follow established procedures for managing emergencies, including contacting appropriate personnel and authorities.

Team Collaboration:

- Collaborate with fellow lodge agents and other staff to ensure a smooth and coordinated operation.

- Assist other departments and staff members as needed.

- Maintain and encourage effective communication with all front desk staff and management team.

- Work closely with the management team to provide exceptional customer service that strives to exceed guest expectations and optimize guest relations.

Professionalism:

- Always present a professional and polished appearance.

- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards of service.

- Be dependable and on time for your shifts.

Qualifications

- 1 years of customer service-related experience.

- Guest services experience

- Ability to multi-task

- Self-starter

- Team-oriented

- Friendly demeanor and positive attitude

- Ability to exercise good judgement

- Excellent communication skills

- Strong organization skills

- Strong computer knowledge and proficiency with a wide range of office equipment necessary

- Knowledge of the Teton Valley and Greater Yellowstone region a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
