Job Overview:
Bronze Buffalo Ranch is seeking a passionate and experienced Swim Instructor to join our team for the summer season. This part-time position will run from June through August and will involve teaching children’s group swim lessons, private lessons, and kids' camp swim programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in swim instruction, water safety, and working with children of all ages and skill levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide group and private swim lessons for children of various ages and skill levels.
- Teach swimming fundamentals, stroke development, and water safety techniques in a safe and engaging manner.
- Instruct kids' camp swim programs, ensuring campers have a fun and educational aquatic experience.
- Monitor swimmers to ensure a safe learning environment, enforcing all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and club members regarding student progress and lesson plans.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and professional attitude while working with children and families.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, and Water Safety Instruction (WSI) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching swim lessons and working with children in a swim instruction or aquatic setting.
- Strong knowledge of swim techniques and water safety best practices.
- Ability to create a fun, engaging, and structured learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be available for the summer season (June – August) and have flexible scheduling, including potential weekend availability.
