Construction Framer Team Lead

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Construction framer to oversee and coordinate construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction techniques and be able to manage a team effectively while ensuring high-quality work. This role requires hands-on experience in construction, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. You must be updated with code and be able to frame and assist with framing an entire new construction residence

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of construction workers on-site, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Oversee the installation of drywall, stucco, and other materials as required for each project.
• Manage frame carpentry tasks, including building structures according to design specifications.
• Coordinate metal building erection processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of work completed by the team to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality expectations.
• Train and mentor team members in the use of hand tools and construction techniques.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Maintain a clean and organized construction site, promoting safety practices among all team members.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction leadership roles with a strong understanding of various construction methods.
• Proficiency in drywall installation, frame carpentry, stucco application, and metal building erection.
• Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in the construction industry.
• Demonstrated ability to restore existing structures while maintaining quality craftsmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues that arise during the construction process.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and project stakeholders.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $28.35 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• No nights
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental Pay:

• Performance bonus
