CNA - Observation Unit - 72 hours biweekly - 6 : 30p-7aEvery other weekendSome holidaysUnder the direct supervision of a licensed nurse and in a team relationship, performs a wide range of nursing care activities and related services to provide care for the personal needs and comfort of patients while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. Maintains and demonstrates competencies in clinical practice to include age specifics. Maintains clinical competency and participates in continuing education related to health care issues.Minimum Qualifications : Education - Graduation from high school or equivalent preferred. Completion of a Nursing Assistant Program required.Experience - Experience in a health care setting preferred.Licensure / Certification - Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Maryland required. Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy.Knowledge / Skills / Abilities - Ability to apply the standards of professional nursing practice with compassion and empathy. Basic computer skills required.
