School Health Certified Nursing AssistantFull-time - 70 hours biweeklyM-F no weekends or holidaysUnder the leadership and direction of an LPN and / or RN, provides health services to facilitate the student's optimal physical, mental, emotional and social growth and development. Provides care to medically involved students. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : maintaining the school health clinic, following the individualized health care plans developed by the school RN, providing physical care for the students, maintaining a sanitary and safe environment, administer physician ordered medication and treatments, ordering supplies for your assigned health office, completing daily and monthly records, and attending student related meetings.Minimum Qualifications : Education - High School Diploma or GEDExperience - One year experience working in a health care setting required.Licensure / Certification -
- Current certification in state of Maryland as a Certified Nursing Assistant required.
- Must obtain Certified Medication Technician in the state of Maryland within 90 days of employment.
- Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy and First Aid required.Knowledge / Skills / Abilities - Ability to exercise professional judgment in making decisions.
