Description
Patient Coordinator Concierge Temporary
General Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and register patients that arrive for appointments
- Manage patient flow as patients enter facility
- Answer phones and schedule patient appointments
- Utilize medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for patients
- Obtain and verify insurance along with pre-authorization and referrals
- Collect co-pays and handle other patient financial transactions
- Other duties as needed

Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)
- Friday (7:30 / 8:00 am – 2:00 pm)
- Sunday (1x per month 7:30 – 12:30 pm)

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience working as a medical receptionist/assistant
- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Easy going personality
- Excellent time management, organizational skills and ability to multitask
- General understanding of health insurance (co-pays, referrals, authorization)
- Able to work in a team environment and put patient needs first
- Experience with medical office software for scheduling appointments
- Fluent in a second language desirable (Spanish, Creole, Russian)
