We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping Associate. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8 hour shifts, with opportunities for overtime when required.

Responsibilities
- Read job jacket and ensure all required production steps have been completed and product matches job jacket requirements.
- Check packing instructions and quantity to make sure order ships per customer specifications, quantity ordered, and correct shipping carrier.
- Weigh cartons to make sure department procedures are met.
- Enter shipment information in shipping system to produce packing slip and customer information.
- Update shipping information on the job jacket.
- Process shipment through automated shipping system to make sure correct carrier is selected and shipping charges are applied.
Requirements
- High school degree or general education (GED); three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions.
- Ability to communicate one-on-one with other employees.
Skill & Knowledge
- Skill to complete basic math skills; add, subtract, etc.
- Skill to apply common sense understanding to carry out verbal instructions.
