Requirements:
Primary responsibilities:
- Using the job jacket establishes cuts required to produce the job.
- Double check that sheets are in proper order and die and decal are properly aligned.
- Perform first piece inspection to make sure entire sheet is properly cut with no border problems and obtain Supervisor sign-off as required by procedures.
- Perform in-process quality checks of jobs as required by procedures.
- Keep count of completed product on each run to record numbers on the job jacket.
- At end of shift operator cleans area, equipment, performs daily maintenance and informs supervisor of
- High school degree or general education (GED); three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and understand a job jacket.
- Ability to operate machinery in a safe manner.
- Ability to understand and work with measurements.
- Skill to complete basic math skills; add, subtract, etc.
- Skill to apply common sense understanding to carry out verbal instructions.
