Overview :
The College is seeking a pool of applicants for hourly Academic Tutor positions for the English Department Writing Center.
Assignments could be a Lincroft main campus and / or Colleges Higher Education Centers.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible to tutor individuals / small groups of students in fundamental and advanced areas of writing, including essays and research papers.
- Responsible for supporting classroom instruction, administering / evaluation of placement essays, ordering materials, maintaining records, and supervising use of materials and facilities.
- Must have the ability to analyze individual student writing needs, development learning objectives to meet those needs, and monitor student progress.
- Other related duties as assigned.
