Job Details
The Administrative Nursing Coordinator coordinates the delivery of nursing services throughout the hospital on the evening and night shifts.
Has primary authority and responsibility for ensuring that defined standards of nursing practice and patient care are consistently adhered to on the evening and night shifts.
Promotes career development of employees and communicates important organizational information to staff in a timely manner.
Responsible for operations and management of the units covering in collaboration with the Director.
Job Requirements
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a leadership role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Critical thinking and excellent computer skills in Excel and Word.
Knowledge of quality improvement philosophy models, processes and tools and their use in health care integrated settings.
Demonstrated commitment to continued professional growth and development.
Schedule Information
Evening and night shifts.
Unit Specific Information
Responsible for the implementation of hospital's policies and procedures, as well as regulatory agencies codes and regulations as they pertain to the Department.
Additional Details
Knowledge of methods for CQI, and Root Cause Analysis.
Works effectively in integrated structure by establishing effective working relationships with all departments and levels of staff.
Demonstrates respect and professionalism in all interactions.
