Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Role is also eligible for monthly and quarterly commission opportunites.

Responsibilities
This position is responsible for following Brookdale referral processes as well as acceptance guidelines to improve occupancy level and revenue production of the community. This includes managing pre-admission and admission processes and completing all activities required for an admission. Represents the community and increases awareness through participation in outside events and professional groups. Partners with community team to execute business development strategies to generate referrals.

Qualifications
Education and ExperienceHigh School Education or Equivalent is required, College Degree from an accredited university in a related field is preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education is required. A minimum of two to five years of experience in health care environment working with seniors is require, preferably skilled nursing. Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements Frequent car travel requires the incumbent to possess and maintain a valid drivers’ license. Computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office is required.
Management/Decision Making Applies existing guidelines and procedures to make a variety of decisions with a department. Uses sound judgment and experience to solve moderately complex problems based problems based on precedent, example reasonableness or a combination of these. Able to effectively communicate complex issues across inter-departmental lines to gain consensus. Knowledge and Skills Has a working knowledge of a skill or discipline that requires basic analytic ability. Has an overall understanding of the work environment and process. Has working knowledge of the marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid regulations to include applicable processes for the product lines being sold. Knowledge of Medicare Advantage Contracts and other payers. Knowledge of state and federal regulations impacting or directing the delivery of services. Ability to operate personal computers and related software. Ability to effectively manage time, tasks and projects in a dynamic environment is required. Ability to build trust and act honestly in relationships with others. Ability to assess and understand customers’ expectations, needs and circumstances. Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and to treat people with dignity, respect, fairness and maturity. Ability to effectively listen and communicate verbally and in writing is essential.
