What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Tech (FT - Night shift) position at Brookdale Premier Addiction Recovery?
JOB SUMMARY
Liaison between the clinical, administration, nursing staff, and patients while maintaining an environment which provides safety, ethical practices. The Patient Care Technician will be required to effectively direct, monitor, assess and report patient behavior. Must be able to maintain a safe environment responding to a variety of changing situations and conditions. Always treat patients with respect, dignity, compassion and caring.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Minimum of High School degree, G.E.D. or knowledge of addiction and recovery.
- Have a working knowledge of AA/NA philosophy as well as basic recovery principles.
- Prior work experience in addiction and recovery a definite plus
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Supervising patients to ensure compliance with program rules and schedule, interactions with each other during structured and/or unstructured activities.
- Ensure rooms are clean throughout the facility and assignments are completed in timely and proper manner.
- Assist in serving meals when needed.
- Document groups, shift activities, individual recovery aide notes, and other pertinent information.

YOUR SCHEDULE:
- Full time
- 8 Hour shifts
- Schedule includes one weekend shift per week and holidays in rotation

SALARY RANGE (depending upon prior work experience): 16.00 to 17.50 per hour plus shift differential
