Traveling RN Director of Nursing Opportunity!
Required experience :
- 5 years within a Skilled Nursing Facility
- Prior Director of Nursing experience, Regional experience preferred
Schedule : This role would have a schedule of 10 days on, 4 days off. Traveling would be to different Brookdale CCRC communities (currently located in 12 different states : Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, and Texas).
This position would fill in for different clinical leadership roles within the CCRC communities and supervise licensed and non-licensed direct care associates. We are looking for an experienced clinical leader, focused on building strong teams with a positive culture, to provide the best support to those we serve.

Responsibilities
Manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents healthcare needs are met. Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity and ensures quality care as residents healthcare needs change. Supervises licensed nurses and other direct care staff within the community. Responsible for overseeing and validating all resident care to ensure needs are met and that care is provided in accordance with physician orders, care plans, policies / procedures, and state and federal regulations. Strengthens clinical processes within community until a replacement is identified, then supports newly assigned Director of Clinical Services, Assistant Director of Clinical Services, and / or MDS Coordinator and others as assigned. Travels within the division as assigned to support management vacancies, start-ups, vacations, etc.

Qualifications
Education and ExperienceEducation as required to obtain state nursing license (RN). Five years of skilled nursing experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) or District / Regional Nurse Consultant required. Certification in Infection Prevention / Control and RAI process preferred. Basic typing skills, along with a working knowledge of personal computing and word processing software, are required, preferably in a Microsoft Windows environment.
Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special RequirementsRN license.
