Overview
The SkillBridge ED Training Program is an unpaid experience for tansitioning military members who are looking to expand their skills in operational leadership within the healthcare/senior living space. We are looking for our candidate to be in the Clarksville/Greater Nashville area and have the ability to drive between locations when needed.
Responsibilities
Participate in on-the-job training experiences tailored for transitioning military members through the SkillBridge program. The role prepares candidates to assume the Executive Director or Associate Executive Director role at one of our communities, focusing on areas such as people management, operations management, and clinical management. The program is designed to leverage military leadership experience, enhancing skills to meet the specific demands of senior living management within the organization.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent military experience required. Minimum of two to four years of leadership experience in the military or related civilian roles; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements
Must have a valid administrator license in states where required. Must have a valid driver license and access to a private vehicle for business use. Must provide a copy of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoP) prior to beginning training.
Management/Decision Making
Utilize analytic skills developed in military service to address arising problems and issues. Demonstrate leadership by managing various departments, carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws.
Knowledge and Skills
Has knowledge of the organization, industry, and a functional discipline. Extensive understanding of technical areas gained through experience and used to complete and/or oversee assignments. Familiarity with Microsoft software preferred. Effective written and oral communications skills are essential. Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks is essential. Ability to delegate assignments to the appropriate individuals based on their skills, roles, and interests. Demonstrates good judgment, strong problem solving and decision making skills.
