Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Social Service Department in accordance with current existing federal, state and Brookdale standards.

Qualifications
Education and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Human Service field is required. Minimum of one (1) year of supervised work experience in a health care setting working directly with individuals, preferably the elderly.
Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special RequirementsNone
Management/Decision MakingApplies existing guidelines and procedures to make varied decisions within a department. Uses sound judgment and experience to solve moderately complex problems based on precedent, example, reasonableness or a combination of these.
Knowledge and SkillsPossesses extensive knowledge of a distinct skill or function and a thorough understanding of the organization and work environment. Has working knowledge of a functional discipline.
