Has a basic level of skill and can follow written or verbal instructions. Has basic technical skills to complete a few repetitive and well-defined duties. Has a basic knowledge of the organization in order to answer basic questions. Strong communication skills. Team mentality. Motivated and willing to provide support to team members.

Responsibilities
Legal clerk will be responsible for assisting the Legal Operations group with special projects, licensure and other day-to-day support for the Legal Department.
- May assist with completion, review and follow up of license and/or permit applications.
- Reviews applications, obtains documentation from the community, reviews the application for completeness, obtains licensure fees, and submits applications to licensing agency.
- Provides general legal support such as conducting statutory and regulatory research, reviewing documents, updating contracts, and correspondence, as needed.
- Assist attorneys and legal operations team members with various tasks.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Enrolled as a first-year or second-year law student.
- Interest in healthcare preferred.
- Ability to work independently and consult with supervisor as necessary.
- Motivated, self-starter eager to work in a fast paced legal group.
- Quick learner with a strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to prioritize multiple projects.
- Ability to read and interpret statutes and regulations.
