Position Overview:
Brookfield Country Club is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Agronomy Team Member to help maintain and enhance our championship golf course. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have an eye for detail, and take pride in maintaining high-quality turf and landscapes.
As part of our Golf Course Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for the daily upkeep of the course, ensuring top playing conditions for members and guests. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in turf management, golf course maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Mowing & Turf Care – Operate fairway, greens, and rough mowers to maintain top course conditions.
✔ Bunker & Course Detailing – Rake bunkers, repair divots, and keep the course in tournament-ready condition.
✔ Irrigation & Water Management – Assist in monitoring and maintaining irrigation systems.
✔ Landscape & Horticulture Maintenance – Support flowerbed care, tree maintenance, and overall course aesthetics.
✔ Equipment Operation & Maintenance – Use and maintain golf course maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
✔ Assist in Aeration & Special Projects – Participate in cultural practices like aerification, topdressing, and seeding.
✔ Course Setup – Set up tee markers, hole locations, and maintain practice areas.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Strong Attention to Detail – Ensuring the course is presented at the highest standard.
Punctual & Reliable – Being on time and dependable is a must.
Willingness to Learn – No prior golf course experience required, but eagerness to learn is essential.
Ability to Work Outdoors – Must be comfortable working in various weather conditions and performing physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Experience with Landscaping or Golf Course Maintenance (Preferred, Not Required) – Any prior experience in turfgrass management, landscaping, or groundskeeping is a plus.
