Brookfield Country Club is seeking enthusiastic, service-oriented professionals to join our team of Service Staff Starting Mid March. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of the steps of service, a passion for providing exceptional member service, and a commitment to maintaining the high standards that Brookfield is known for. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating a memorable dining experience for our members and their guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take food and beverage orders from members and guests with accuracy and efficiency.
- Enter orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Follow the Brookfield Country Club steps of service to ensure excellent member satisfaction.
- Perform wine service, including offering recommendations, proper pouring techniques, and pairing suggestions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including dining areas, service stations, and equipment.
- Reset tables, clean service areas, and perform general cleaning tasks as part of side work duties.
- Provide expert knowledge of the menu, including food and wine offerings, and assist members with selections.
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude while interacting with members and colleagues.
- Ensure all service standards and protocols are followed, contributing to a smooth and seamless operation.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a country club or upscale dining environment
- Strong knowledge of food and wine
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to outstanding member service.
- Ability to lift and carry trays, work on your feet for extended periods, and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Prior country club serving experience highly encouraged, but not required.
