Industry Leader hiring due to growth. The Design Engineer will provide guidance to the System Engineering Department and support Application Engineers to ensure compliance with current and future customer projects requirements, ensuring engineering goals and objectives are delivered.
Job responsibilities will include :
- Requirement gathering, management and compliance with a given program
- Provide input to the other engineering departments, including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, CAD, Configuration Management, New Product Development, Integrated Logistics Support departments, and Applications Engineering.
- Provide support to meet Engineering schedules and budgets in coordination with Program Managers.
- Contribute to providing direction and guidance to Engineering personnel, ensuring the department meet current and future program requirements.
- Provide support to ensure quality, productivity, and innovation in new product design.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers and leadership in order to accomplish program goals through Systems Engineering.
- Provides Engineering Estimates and Applications Engineering support for quotes as needed.
