We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. - Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
- Utilize therapeutic techniques to enhance patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment processes and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay current with developments in occupational therapy practices and methodologies.
- Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and therapeutic techniques.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
- Familiarity with care plans and discharge planning processes.
- Previous experience in a clinic, skilled nursing facility, or inpatient setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
