Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a part-time intern to join the Tax team. This internship will begin January 2025 and run through April 2025. The Tax Intern will have an opportunity to gain hands-on tax experience and learn about the various aspects of the tax function at Brookfield Properties. This internship will provide an entry-level professional's real-world learning opportunities at a prominent multinational real estate company to help build future careers.
Gather and assemble various data for federal and state tax compliance related to REITs, Partnerships, Corporations, and other legal entities
Preparation of basic federal, state, and local tax returns
Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned
Requirements:
This position requires a High School Diploma/GED
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
