In this role, you will play a key role in inspiring change and continual improvement. If you are committed to excellence and ready to contribute to a dynamic culture, we would love to meet you.Individuals will be assigned to the SPACE Design group. SPACE is Brookfield Properties’ flexible workspace business. Our intern program lasts 10-weeks and includes many exciting training and development opportunities, including being paired with a mentor, weekly lunches with senior leaders, asset tours, and networking events.Role & Responsibilities : Industry research as it pertains to workplace design, FF&E, finishes, etc.Cataloguing our materials library for both architectural and furniture finishesWritten materials and analysis for design standardsGraphic presentationsTour assets alongside senior colleaguesYour Qualifications : Rising senior working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture or Interior DesignDemonstrated interest in architecture, interiors, FF&E, and real estateProficient in graphic design programs, photography, and editing (Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Creative Suite : Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, Microsoft : Word and Excel)Strong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated and proactive, both with respect to managing workload and own professional developmentAbility to handle large volume of work; good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlinesCandidate should be enthusiastic and motivated to succeed in a team environmentCompensation & Benefits : Salary Type : Non-exemptPay Frequency : Bi-weeklyAnnual Base Salary Range : $25 / HourBrookfield Properties is an equal opportunity employer, and we foster an inviting, inclusive and collaborative environment.We are proud to create a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
