Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wind Technician Lead to join our team at Brookfield Renewable. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on our wind turbines.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and execute maintenance activities on multiple wind turbine platforms.
* Train and supervise a team of technicians to perform complex troubleshooting and repair tasks.
* Collaborate with the High Voltage Technician to perform High, Medium, and Low Voltage switching and training.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental procedures and policies.
* Provide technical support to remote assets as needed.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of experience in wind turbine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
* Ability to climb multiple towers per day up to 90 meters unassisted, in various weather conditions.
* Ability to lift, move, place, and/or handle objects up to 50lbs unassisted and up to 100lbs assisted.
* Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
