Health and Wellness Coordinator

Job Description:

Willing to obtain certification as required by State regulation;

Experience in leadership position in senior living or health care setting;

Experience in senior related fields;

Ability to operate first aid equipment;

Ability to compile, manage and maintain organization of medication and resident records;

Experience and ability to manage minor health related items, physical/mental assessments, supervisory skills;

Ability to understand and implement compliance and procedures as required by regulations and company policies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Promote the well-being and functional independence of each resident by encouraging involvement in community activities programming.

2. Coordination of resident assistants on all shifts;

3. Work with the clients and families to coordinate needs and assist with setting up medication management/assistance program for all residents;

4. Oversee medication management/assistance program for all residents;

5. In-service direct care staff in medication management program;

6. Participate in resident screenings and reviews as directed by Administrator;

7. Report to the Administrator any variances in compliance with regulations and procedures;

8. Performs other duties as assigned.

This position is in a fast-paced environment. Organizational skills helpful. Knowledge regarding diagnoses and medications will be helpful in performing daily tasks. The ability to manage resident care and oversee staff is expected. Nurses are encouraged to apply but not required.

Pay depending on experience and licensure or certification status (i.e. nursing, CNA, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
