What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Manager position at Brookfield Small Business?
Starting base salary: $60,000 to $65,000 per year depending upon work experience, background and qualifications plus possible annual big bonus if annual performance and company goals are obtained. Group health insurance plan is also included and available if needed as well as paid vacation time is available after probation period of employment is completed.
Small 20-year-old established Brookfield area-based national e-commerce supplier and distributor of business to business commercial products and supplies seeking qualified and experienced small business manager or customer service manager to oversee/manage small
customer service team ensuring that our customer service experience and process is a pleasant, productive and efficient process.
-Primary job duties would be: Managing small customer service team of 4 to 6 representatives primarily customer service reps. This would include overseeing/reviewing/monitoring employee daily tasks and duties. Also includes establishing/creating daily or weekly curriculums for
employees, balancing workloads and tasks for everybody, having measures protocols in place gauging activity and productivity through weekly reporting/evaluating and weekly/monthly meetings including accountability which needs to be in place for all employees. Job candidate
searching, interviewing, hiring and training new employees and terminating existing employees if needed would also be part of the job scope.
Other duties would include daily credit card running/billing for orders, assisting and filling in where/if needed in customer service dept, helping/assisting with monitoring main inbox, handling/resolving any customer service issues if necessary, obtaining customer online reviews,
special projects, special assignments, etc.
Job requirements are as follows: (Please don’t apply without these qualifications)
- 4-year college degree required
- 5-6 years minimum management experience or customer service mgmt. experience with reputable company(s) Previous experience managing teams would be ideal.
- Proven employment history with minimum 3-4 years employment with each previous employer (No job hoppers/jumpers with short stays)
- Small business experience background preferred (Not large corporate)
- Great management style and skills
- Great communication and phone skills
- Great organizational skills
- Good computer software knowledge and skills
- Detail orientated (Need a detailed orientated person)
- Need a reliable and dependable person
- Need a strong-minded person (Not a good fit for sensitive individuals)
-Hours: Monday-Friday business hours 8:00am to 4:00pm. Start date: approx.1 month.
