The Dietary Aide assists with food preparation and service, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities include setting up meal trays, washing dishes, preparing snacks, sweeping and mopping floors, disposing of trash, and maintaining clean and sanitary kitchen areas. The role also involves monitoring dishwashing equipment, storing groceries safely, and working harmoniously with staff across departments.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a food handler's certificate, and the ability to follow recipes and solve practical problems. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, lifting to 50 pounds, and maintaining a clean work environment.
