What we are looking for.
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for an opportunity to lead and innovate within a team-nursing structure? This position may, based upon job performance, transition into an RN Team Lead position. Join Brookhaven Hospital as an RN and help shape the future of nursing care in our organization focusing on compassionate, caring, empathetic, humble and quality-driven style of nursing! Our RN staff is responsible for direct patient care and supervision of licensed and unlicensed staff, and using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care of patients.
SCHEDULE
- 12-hour shifts, 7a-7p, rotating weekends
- Shift differentials up to $6.25 per hour worked for evenings, nights, and weekends
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works collaboratively within team nursing model alongside Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Mental Health Technicians (MHTs), and other healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient careLeads and mentors nursing staff within assigned team, providing guidance and support to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Mental Health Technicians (MHTs), fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvementCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes, enhance patient experience, and promote a culture of patient-centered careMonitors patient vital signs, assesses their condition, and promptly escalates any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team membersParticipates in patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, collaborating with team members to ensure a smooth transition of careMaintains accurate and thorough documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in patient health recordParticipates in interdisciplinary treatment planning process by providing input and collaborating with other team membersAdministers medication and documents patient care according to physician orders, hospital policy and nursing standards, including timeliness of record completionMaintains a safe environment for patients, families, team members, and visitorsCOMPETITIVE BENEFITS PACKAGE

Requirements : QUALIFICATIONS
Valid registered nurse license to practice in the state of OklahomaCPR certificationStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making abilitiesAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environmentThorough understanding of hospital policy and procedures, including fire and safety plans, risk management, and infection controlPrevious experience in team nursing or a similar collaborative care model preferred but not requiredPHYSICAL CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periodsMay be required to lift or push up to 65lbsRequires the ability to read, write, and process information accurately.
