What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Leasing Consultant position at Brookhaven Management Group, LLC?
We are a growing, national property management firm seeking an experienced part-time Leasing Consultant for our 128-unit multi-family tax-credit community in Stockbridge, GA. The candidate must have proven multi-family, tax-credit experience. The candidate must be self-motivated, organized, and resourceful.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet residents, prospects, and vendors in office and on the phone
- Conducting all leasing activities, including showing units, follow-up with prospects, and marketing
- Process applications in compliance with Section 42 tax-credit rules
- Ensure property meets all file and property compliance according to Section 42 tax-credit
- Focus on retention activities including lease renewals and identifying community events to foster a feeling of community
- Establishing and maintaining good rapport and communication with residents, vendors, staff, and other customers as needed
- Complete reports as requested by property manager
- Follow all policies and procedures and follow all Fair Housings guidelines
The ideal candidate must be reliable and can successfully multi-task and operate in a fast-paced office. The best candidate for this position will be proficient in Section 42 tax credit and possess working knowledge of how a property management office should be run and can seamlessly step in to keep operations running smoothly. Ideally, the best leasing consultant would have at least 1 year of property management experience in Section 42 or HUD property and can thrive in a two-person office.
