Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House / Food and Beverage Manager to oversee all aspects of our dining services. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, innovative, and charismatic leader, dedicated to teamwork and being approachable to both members and staff. This role involves managing daily food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service, and contributing to the club's mission and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee all front-of-house operations, including the restaurant, bar, and banquet services, ensuring seamless daily operations and adherence to the highest standards.
- Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, supervise, and develop food and beverage staff, fostering a cohesive team committed to delivering exceptional member and guest experiences.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets and control costs within the food and beverage department.
- Member Engagement: Act as a front-facing representative of the club, building strong relationships with members and guests, and ensuring their satisfaction with our dining services.
- Event Coordination: Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute special events, banquets, and functions, ensuring all food and beverage aspects are impeccably managed.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations in all food and beverage areas.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Hospitality/Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably within a private club or upscale dining establishment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to serve as an authoritative yet approachable figure, motivating and managing a diverse team effectively.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on member and guest satisfaction.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including current industry trends and best practices.
