Job Summary
Brooklawn Country Club is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced membership environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving drinks, taking orders, and ensuring that members have an exceptional experience at our club, whether it be lunch, dinner, or a special event.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and members preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, work stations and utensils.
- Interact with members in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience.
- Take drink orders accurately using the club POS system and handle member names and numbers to make accurate transactions responsibly.
- Monitor members consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices.
- Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or private parties, ensuring all supplies are ready for service.
- Stay informed about menu items, specials, and promotions to effectively communicate with the membership.
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain compliance with health regulations regarding food handling.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of both alcohol and food safety practices with regulations.
- Experience working in a high volume restaurant settings or country club bars is preferred.
- Familiarity with catering operations and banquet service is advantageous.
- Proficient in food handling techniques to ensure members safety.
- Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for members and their guests.
- Experience with POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Ability to perform retail math calculations for accurate transactions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
