Job Description
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for surgical technology students
- Demonstrate proper use of surgical instrumentation, equipment, and aseptic techniques
- Provide hands-on instruction in surgical procedures and protocols
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and infection control protocols
- Associate's degree and current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
- Extensive experience as a Surgical Technologist with proficiency in instrumentation, equipment, and aseptic techniques
- In-depth knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols
- Strong communication and demonstration skills
- No prior teaching experience required; willingness to learn and grow in an educational role
