The Brookline Infant Toddler Center, Inc. is a private, non-profit, year-round childcare center for children aged three months to kindergarten entry. Our goal is to foster each child's urge to grow. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field and possess a Lead Teacher certification. This role involves planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, ensuring a safe and inclusive classroom environment, and fostering positive relationships with children and families.
Duties :
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and creativity.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate curriculum and events.
